My wife isn't the BIGGEST fan of the car, because it does take some (now much smaller amount) time away from couples/family time, but she knows I need my tinkering and my hobby. She reluctantly supports it, knowing that it keeps me occupied and is an outlet for me. She bought me Z parts for Father's day, and she was a super trooper when we had SZ in town for her first Mother's day. I'm still making it up to her, but never would she ask me to sell it. Unless we were in a DIRE financial situation. I agree with JMartz advice, to sit on it and use the market value as an excuse if need be.
